Thanksgiving in June

If we can have Christmas in July, it would seem fair that we can have Thanksgiving in June. Especially, as we approach our 250th celebration of American Independence. What better place and time to remember God’s providence on our nation and the ideas it was founded on than looking back at the early Pilgrims and Puritans who gave us the heartbeat of America.

ThisĀ heartbeat is the Bible atĀ the center of society and around the Bible are the family, church, and government each interacting with each other but separate from each other. To this, we are joyful and thankful to the blessings God has given us and pray that these structures would stay strong were they still stand and be rebuilt were they have been torn down.

We are grateful for the blessings received and for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Thus out of small beginnings greater things have been produced by His hand that made all things of nothing, and gives being to all things that are; and, as one small candle may light a thousand, so the light here kindled hath shone unto many…
